This course also highlights the needs and care of the geriatric patient. Students will learn the application of clinical data through the use of clinical case studies. A review of theory and clinical skills to enhance critical thinking skills needed in a critical care setting with an emphasis on invasive monitoring such as hemodynamic measurement, ventilation/perfusion and pulmonary assessment.
