BIT 1620 - Health Insurance and Medical Billing

A study of private sector health insurance and government health plans, with procedures for integrating DRG, health plan data, and costing into bills and super bills for patients and for third party payment. Includes Relative Value Scale, use of Medicare Volume Performance Standard, and legal issues in insurance claims and medical records. Business Administration 1620.
