FSCI 2830 - Contingency Planning Lec. 3; Cr. 3
This course is designed to teach the student how to develop an emergency response contingency plan for a facility or community. Preparedness includes identifying the hazards, writing and implementing the contingency plans, training employees for an emergency, and evaluating the effectiveness of the contingency plan.
Prerequisite(s): Student must be eligible to take ENGL 1001 and MATH 1021 or consent of the Head, Division of Health Sciences and Business Technology. A grade of “C” or better must be earned in this course for degree credit within the Division of Health Sciences and Business Technology.
