Criminal Justice, AS

Return to: Associate Degrees, Technical Diplomas, and Certificate Programs

The Criminal Justice Program is designed for both the high school graduate who wishes to prepare for a career in the criminal justice system and the practitioner who wants to upgrade his or her criminal justice knowledge and professional credentials.

This two-year social science curriculum is based on the best practices in criminal justice education and provides the knowledge content deemed important to criminal justice programs. Along with basic criminal justice courses, the associate of science in criminal justice requires interdisciplinary courses transferable to baccalaureate programs at four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States.

LSU Eunice is a part of the Center for Adult Learners in Louisiana (CALL) initiative making it easier for adults to either begin or complete a post-secondary education through online degree programs, accelerated learning formats, and prior learning assessment. Students participating in CALL at LSU Eunice can take a variety of general education and specific courses as part of the associate degree program in criminal justice. The courses and degree are delivered entirely online. For more information on CALL students can visit the CALL website at www.yourCALLla.org or call 337-550-1445.
