This is a two-year Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology (Systems Analysis and Programing). This modern curriculum provides a broad scope of leading courses in information technology, as well as general education. Specific areas of study include System Analysis & Design, Computer Programming in Object-Orientated Environments, IT Project Management, Computer Networking and Security, and, Web Design and Development, as well as Computer Support Specialist.
Note:As of the fall 2014, System Analysis and Programming no longer exists as a separate concentration under the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Computer Information Technology but is incorporated within the degree.
The field of study in Business Information Technology is no longer under the A.A.S in Computer Information Technology. Beginning fall 2015, the two concentrations (Administrative Technology Specialist and Medical Technology Specialist) will no longer be available. Students currently enrolled in these concentrations will have until the end of the summer 2016 session to graduate with these concentrations. Beginning spring 2015, no new students will be accepted into these concentrations. Students interested in these areas should consider the newly added Certificate of Technical Studies (C.T.S.) in Administrative Technology Specialist or the C.T.S. in Medical Coding and Billing.
