Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) is an interactive program that will allow participants to explore case studies while gaining practical experience. This experience will allow the students to focus on HSEM program management, program design and development, program evaluation models, improvement planning, and employee training. This certificate program will allow the students to focus on threat-and-performance-based exercises that will include a cycle, mix, and range of exercises activities of varying degrees of complexity and interaction.
Note: Plans are to discontinue this program beginning Fall 2015. Students currently in the program will be allowed to graduate as long as they complete the certificate by the end of the summer session 2016.
