NURS 2352 - Nursing Pharmacology I for Articulating Students Lec. 1; Cr. 1
Content includes principle actions, therapeutic uses and adverse effects of the major classifications of drugs used throughout the lifespan. Dosage computation, nursing responsibilities, ethical consideration and legal implications are incorporated throughout this course.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in ENGL 1001/1002; MATH 1021; BIOL 1160/1161; BIOL 2160/2161; PSYC 2070. Selective admission to the LPN-RN Advanced Standing Articulation; Successful completion of the LPN-RN Advanced Standing entrance examination; Proof of current Louisianan LPN license. Corequisite(s): NURS 2350 . Pre- or Co-requisite(s): General Education Humanities elective or General Education Fine Arts elective and MATH 1425 . Note: Course open to LPN-ASN students only.
