SURT 2103 - Surgical Practicum II

Students receive hands-on clinical expereince in a surgical setting. Focus will be placed on enhancing knowledge base and skills in the first and second scrub roles. Surgical clinical expereince includes plastic/oral, opthalmic, cardiothoracic, peripheral vascular, and neurosurgery. Students are required to complete a minimum of sixty (60) surgical cases in various surgical specialties.

Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better on SURT 1100, SURT 1102, and SUR T1103.
Corequisite(s): SURT 2100 and SURT 2102
