BADM 2921 - Selected Topics


Lec. 1; Cr. 1

An examination of topics related to business administration. Course content varies; may be taken twice for credit. 

If this course is used for a Practicum in Management Independent Study–A structured program of individualized work experience in business, health care, hospitality, asset or administrative management with a participating employer.  Each student will work with a coordinator or faculty member from the Division of Health Sciences, Business & Technology, and Public Protection and Safety.  The student’s experience will be related to the academic studies and must contribute significantly to professional development.  A minimum of 60 clock hours of work are required for each hour of academic credit.  Arrangements must be made prior to registration, including acceptance of initial proposal and credit hour assignment.  Grading will be pass/fail.  May be taken twice for credit. This course can be taken by a student who wants to complete a one-hour Business Internship.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of at least 24 credit hours or approval of the Dean of Health Sciences, Business & Technology, and Public Protection and Safety.
