BIOL 1011 - Microorganisms and Man Lec. 3; Cr. 3
Microorganisms and their relationship to people; microbial form and function; the role of bacteria in health and disease, ecology, and industry from food production to genetic engineering. Credit will not be given for this course and BIOL 2051 . Not open to microbiology majors.
Prerequisite(s): A letter grade of “C” or better in BIOL 1001 or minimum ACT score of 21 in Scientific Reasoning; or consent of the Head, Division of Sciences and Mathematics.
