FSCI 2502 - Building Construction Structural Technology Lec. 3; Cr. 3
This course presents an analysis of the actions of loads on structures such as beams, cables, arches, trusses, frames, retaining walls, and diaphragm structures, which concern both the construction and fire service professionals. This course will require a computer-based project. This course also includes case studies of the lessons learned from the behavior of buildings under fire and natural disaster conditions.
Prerequisite(s): Must be eligible to enroll in ENGL 1001 and MATH 1021 and/or consent of the Head, Division of Health Sciences and Business Technology.
