A critical analysis and evaluation of past and present concepts of art education with a view toward developing a functional art program for the elementary schools of Louisiana. Art materials, techniques, and art activities recommended for use in the elementary school grades. Reading, discussion, and studio activities. 4 hours of field experience in an elementary school is required.
