MATH 1029 (CMAT 1103) - Introduction to Contemporary Mathematics Lec.3; Cr. 3
Primarily for students in liberal arts and social sciences. Topics include counting techniques and probability, statistics, graph theory, and mathematical approaches to practical life problems and personal finance.
Prerequisite(s): Math ACT subscore of 19 or higher, appropriate placement test score, or equivalent. Any student not meeting one or more of these prerequisites must concurrently enroll in MATH 0030 . Note: Also listed as MATH1029T.
