DMS 2002  - Advanced Physics and Instrumentation

Lec. 3 Cr. 3

Lectures and pertinent demonstrations of advance physics involving use of sonic energy in imaging the human body, including Doppler instrumentation, transducer components, biologic effects of sonic energy and human tissue, and quality control procedures. Introduction to hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system.

Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or better in DMS 1002, DMS 1010, DMS 1020, and DMS 1091.
Corequisite(s): DMS 2021 , DMS 2011 ,  DMS 2092 .
