Computer Information Technology, AAS

This is a two-year Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology (Systems Analysis and Programming).  This modern curriculum provides a broad scope of leading courses in information technology, as well as general education.  Specific areas of study include System Analysis & Design, Computer Programming in Object-Oriented Environments, IT Project Management, Computer Networking and Security, and, Web Design and Development, as well as Computer Support Specialist.

Note: As of Fall 2014, System Analysis and Programming no longer exists as a separate concentration under the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Computer Information Technology but is incorporated within the degree.

The field of study in Business Information Technology is no longer under the A.A.S in Computer Information Technology. Beginning Fall 2015, the two concentrations (Administrative Technology Specialist and Medical Technology Specialist) will no longer be available. Students currently enrolled in these concentrations will have until the end of the summer 2016 session to graduate with these concentrations.

Note: All computer-based courses in any concentration must be passed with a grade of “C” or better. Computer-based courses are defined to include: all computer science courses; ACCT 2102  and ACCT 2103 ; ISDS 2000 , ISDS 2300 , ISDS 2400 , ISDS 2401 , ISDS 2402 , ISDS 2800 , ISDS 2830 ; BIT 2200 , BIT 2900 .
